Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft WDAC OLE DB provider allows remote attackers to execute code after a user connects to a malicious SQL server. The provider mishandles a malicious networking packet in a heap buffer; Microsoft has not disclosed the affected routine or exact boundary-check failure. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to initiate the OLE DB connection, after which attacker-controlled replies execute code on that user's system.
