Code execution via incorrect numeric conversion
Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated May 3, 2025
Remote code execution in the Microsoft ODBC Driver on affected Windows releases allows remote attackers to execute code after user interaction. Microsoft maps the flaw to incorrect conversion between numeric types but has not disclosed the ODBC code locus or the exact conversion error. A user must initiate processing of attacker-controlled ODBC input, and successful exploitation runs code in the affected application context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
