CVE-2024-26155Network attack vector

SSH credential disclosure via hidden HTML fields

Published Jan 17, 2025 · Updated Jan 21, 2025

Cleartext credential exposure in ETIC Telecom Machine Access Box firmware before 4.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to obtain SSH access. The web administration interface embeds SSH credentials in hidden HTML, so viewing the page source reveals values that the browser merely conceals. Exploitation requires an authenticated administration session, normally reachable only from the factory LAN or through a VPN, and exposes SSH access to the router.
