Admin account compromise via unsanitized DataDoc links
Published Feb 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 22, 2024
Stored XSS in Querybook before 3.31.1 allows remote attackers to run client-side code through a crafted DataDoc link. UrlLink reads the stored Draft.js entity URL and passes it directly to the Link component without restricting the javascript protocol. Exploitation requires the attacker to add the link to a DataDoc and a victim to click it; an administrator victim exposes administrator-role access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
