Information disclosure via public license JSON document
Published Feb 21, 2024 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Missing authorization in XWiki SAS Licensing Application before 1.24.2 allows remote attackers to read license and owner data. The public Licenses.Code.LicenseJSON document returns the instance ID, license details, and the owner's name and email without an access check. No account or user interaction is required; exposure is limited to confidentiality, but the data links active-install records to an instance and supports targeted phishing.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
