Intent redirection in Element Android 1.4.3 through 1.6.10 allows attackers to launch arbitrary internal activities via a crafted intent. MainActivity reads EXTRA_NEXT_INTENT and passed the nested intent to startActivity without verifying its resolved package or activity class. Exploitation requires a malicious third-party application on the same phone and can open attacker-chosen web content, execute JavaScript, bypass the PIN, or present a credential-stealing login flow.
