Browser script execution via reflected upload input
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Reflected XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.20 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser. The AEM Forms guidefileupload component reflects request-controlled input into a vulnerable page without sufficient output neutralization. Exploitation requires a crafted URL referencing that page and a victim who opens it; the resulting script runs in the victim's browser context.
