Stored XSS via unsanitized openLink form fields
Published Mar 18, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.19 and earlier and Cloud Service allows remote authenticated users to execute browser scripts. The cq.screens.dcc.openLink.js client library accepts crafted form-field content without neutralizing it before the affected page renders it. Remote authenticated users must store the content and induce another user to view the page; the resulting script can read or alter data accessible to that browser context.
