Browser script execution via stored form input
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.20 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser. AEM stores attacker-supplied script in vulnerable form fields and later renders it to a page visitor without effective neutralization; Adobe has not identified the affected field or code locus publicly. Low-privileged access is required to plant the payload, and a victim must browse the page containing the field; the script can read or alter data available to that browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
