WebAssembly value corruption via register misallocation

Incorrect type conversion in Firefox before 124 allows remote attackers to corrupt WebAssembly values through crafted module code. During a br_on_cast branch with extra block parameters, the baseline compiler can spill assigned register parameters to the stack and continue with stale allocation state that treats arbitrary integers as pointers. The path requires WebAssembly GC, enabled from Firefox 120; the public debug-shell proof triggers a crash, while the published assessment establishes low-integrity modification rather than code execution.
