Management-device impersonation via unchecked FGFM endpoint identity

FGFM endpoint-validation flaws in affected Fortinet products allow man-in-the-middle attackers to impersonate a management device. During an FGFM authentication request, the managed device fails to verify that the responding endpoint is the intended FortiCloud server or, under certain conditions, FortiManager. The attacker must intercept the management exchange; successful impersonation permits actions with the trust assigned to the management endpoint.
