Authenticated code execution via CLI command injection

OS command injection in the Fortinet FortiAP CLI allows local authenticated users to execute unauthorized code on affected access points. The restricted CLI passes specially crafted command input to the operating-system command interpreter without neutralizing shell elements. An authenticated CLI session and local access to the appliance are required, and successful exploitation escapes the restricted shell to run code on the device.
