Unauthenticated code execution via pppd configuration injection

Improper input validation in Phoenix Contact CHARX SEC-3xxx firmware 1.5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code as root. The TCP/5001 CharxSystemConfigManager API copies attacker-controlled CellularNetwork values into a pppd peer configuration, where space-delimited options invoke an uploaded script. No authentication is required; exploitation modifies controller configuration and can fully compromise or reboot the charging controller.
