Remote information disclosure via unchecked radio message
Published Mar 11, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Google Android 13 Pixel Modem allows remote attackers to disclose memory through a crafted radio message. The SAEMM_DiscloseGuti function in SAEMM_RadioMessageCodec.c reads beyond its intended buffer because it fails to validate message bounds. No execution privileges or user interaction are required, and the consequence is limited to disclosure of adjacent memory.
