Local privilege escalation in Google Android 13 allows local users to gain Trusted Execution Environment privileges without interaction. The ppmp_unprotect_buf function in drm_fw.c applies faulty buffer-unprotection logic that compromises protected memory. Existing low-privileged local access is required; successful exploitation crosses into the TEE and compromises confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
