Improper input handling in Dell PowerScale OneFS 8.2.x through 9.7.0.2 allows remote attackers to cause denial of service over SMB1. The SMB1 processing path mishandles an unexpected data type, but Dell has not identified the affected message field or operation. No authentication or user interaction is required; Dell reports only service interruption and does not specify whether the result is a hang, crash, or reboot.
