UNIX symlink following in Dell PowerScale OneFS 8.2.2 through 9.7.0.1 allows local users with high privileges to tamper with data or crash services. Dell has not disclosed the affected file operation or the path whose symbolic-link target is followed. Exploitation requires an account with SSH or console login permission; a successful attempt can modify stored information or interrupt OneFS services.
