Command injection in local RACADM in Dell iDRAC8 before 2.85.85.85 allows local users to control the underlying operating system. Dell has not disclosed the affected RACADM command, input field, or inconsistent validation that permits injected commands to reach the operating system. Exploitation requires an authenticated operating-system session with administrator or root privileges on the managed server, and successful injection grants control of that server's operating system.
