Authenticated privilege escalation
Published Jun 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Improper authorization in Dell SmartFabric OS10 10.5.3.x through 10.5.6.x allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges. Dell has not published the affected authorization locus or the operation that mishandles privileges, although the advisory associates exposure with ISE and TACACS configuration. A valid remote account and a reachable management path are required; elevated privileges can expose or alter data and interrupt switch service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
