Stored XSS via unsanitized shortcode attributes

Stored XSS in the WordPress calendar plugin through 3.4.23 allows attackers to inject scripts through crafted shortcode attributes. The shortcode handlers accept attacker-controlled attributes without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping and persist the resulting markup in a page. Contributor-level access is required; stored scripts execute in browsers that render the injected page and can perform actions or access data within those browser sessions.
