CVE-2024-25873Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated page defacement via unsanitized blockquote author

Published Feb 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024

HTML injection in Enhavo CMS 0.13.1 allows remote authenticated users to deface pages through the Blockquote Author field. The module stores crafted markup from the Author input and renders it without effective HTML neutralization when the blockquote is previewed or published. Creating or editing the page requires authenticated CMS access; once published, the injected markup reaches unauthenticated visitors, enabling page defacement and browser-side script execution.
