SQL command execution via unsanitized membership fields
Published Feb 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
SQL injection in CodeAstro Membership Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands. The add_type.php handler fails to sanitize the membershipType and membershipAmount POST parameters before using them in database queries. The affected membership-type function is restricted to the administrator panel, and the published SQLMap request requires a valid PHP session cookie; exploitation permits database reads and writes.
