Published Mar 11, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024

Stored XSS in SourceCodester Insurance Management System 1.0 allows attackers to run script through support-ticket Subject or Description fields. The application stores those user-controlled values and renders them in ticket details without output neutralization, causing injected markup to execute as script. An attacker must submit a ticket and an administrator or staff member must view its details; execution is limited to that viewer's browser context.
