Unauthenticated file disclosure via unchecked filename path
Published Feb 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 23, 2024
Path traversal in Presta World's Account Manager module before 9.0 allows remote attackers to download personal information without authentication. PrestaSalesManagerChatboxModuleFrontController::postProcess() accepts the HTTP file parameter without restricting it to a basename. Any guest able to reach the PrestaShop front controller can use traversal sequences to read files outside the intended directory, including personal data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
