CVE-2024-25839Network attack vector

Secret-key disclosure via embedded token parameters

Published Mar 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024

Information disclosure in Webbax Super Newsletter 1.4.21 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain the PrestaShop secret key. The module embeds the global COOKIE_KEY value in token parameters for newsletter tracking, unsubscribe, and cron URLs instead of using a module-specific token. Guest access is sufficient to recover the shared secret and invoke other PrestaShop module scripts that trust it, including customer-database export functions.
