Database backup disclosure via date-guessable public paths
Published Feb 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper access control in Dreamer CMS 4.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to download database backups over the network. The /resources/backups/{date}/{date}_system_user.sql path serves date-named SQL backups without enforcing an active session, so dates can be enumerated. The published proof verifies access after logout, while CISA records low privileges as a precondition; the impact is limited to reading sensitive backup contents.
