CVE-2024-25801Network attack vector

Stored script execution via uploaded filename

Published Feb 22, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025

Stored cross-site scripting in SKINsoft S-Museum 7.02.3 allows attackers to execute script through an uploaded filename. The application places the attacker-controlled filename into web-page output without neutralizing executable browser content, causing the stored payload to run when the page is viewed. Exploitation requires a crafted file upload and user interaction; the script runs in the viewing user's browser context, while public records do not identify the affected page or function.
