Unauthenticated device reboot via exposed GET endpoint
Published Mar 27, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Improper access control in WyreStorm Apollo VX20 before 1.3.58 allows remote attackers to restart the device via an HTTP GET request. The web interface accepts an unauthenticated GET request to /device/reboot and invokes the reboot command without enforcing access control. Network reachability to the device is sufficient, and successful exploitation interrupts conferencing while the appliance restarts.
