CVE-2024-25735Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Credential disclosure via unauthenticated config request

Published Mar 27, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Incorrect access control in WyreStorm Apollo VX20 before 1.3.58 allows remote attackers to read SoftAP passwords via an HTTP GET request. The web interface's /device/config endpoint returns its configuration, including the cleartext softAp password, without requiring authentication. Network reachability to the device is sufficient; the disclosed access-point credential enables unauthorized use of the SoftAP network.
