Wireless network access via predictable default PSK

Predictable WPA2 credentials in ARRIS SURFboard SBG6580 devices allow physically proximate attackers to gain wireless network access. The factory PSK concatenates the first six SSID characters with the final six BSSID characters after decrementing its last octet. A nearby attacker can capture both values from a Wi-Fi beacon and derive the unchanged default PSK without prior authentication, enabling access to the protected network.
