Visited-domain disclosure via split-tunneling DNS leakage

Information disclosure in ExpressVPN 12.23.1 through 12.72.0 for Windows allows remote attackers to observe visited domains through DNS leaks. In the selected-apps split-tunneling mode, the app lets the Windows DNS Cache service operate outside the VPN, causing some queries to use system-configured DNS servers. Exposure requires split tunneling and, depending on the bug path, cached DNS state or another VPN app; encryption and other VPN protections remain unaffected.
