Privileged token theft via stored crafted link
Published Oct 4, 2024 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Stored XSS in Esri ArcGIS Web AppBuilder 11.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a crafted link. A user with high privileges can save the link in site configuration without adequate output neutralization, causing its payload to run in a victim's browser. Clicking the stored link can expose a privileged token and grant the attacker full control of the Portal.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
