CVE-2024-25675Network attack vector

Unauthorized export generation via unrestricted GET requests

Published Feb 9, 2024 · Updated Jun 16, 2025

Improper HTTP method restriction in MISP before 2.4.184 allows remote attackers to start export-generation jobs with a GET request. The cache action in JobsController.php accepts non-POST requests, while export.ctp invokes it through an AJAX request that defaults to GET. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful requests create unauthorized export-generation work and consume server resources, but a service interruption is not documented.
