Stored XSS via unrestricted HTML upload
Published Mar 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in PandaXGO PandaX 20240310 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to store executable HTML files. The UploadImage handler passes the multipart file header to Local.UploadFile without checking its extension or content type, so HTML is written beneath the served uploads path. A valid X-TOKEN is required; opening the stored file in a browser executes attacker-supplied script in the site context.
