CVE-2024-25649

Administrator-only secret disclosure via process memory dump

Published Mar 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024

Sensitive-data exposure in Delinea Secret Server 11.4 allows local users with host administrator access to extract secrets from a memory dump. The server process retains the decrypted master key, SQL-authentication database credentials, RabbitMQ message-encryption key, and session cookies in dump-readable memory. Host administrator access is required to capture the process dump; disclosure exposes vault cryptographic material, database access, queue content, and active sessions.
