Stored XSS in description inputs in DFIR-IRIS iris-web before 2.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject browser-executed scripts. The application stores description input without neutralizing alternate script syntax and renders it for later visitors; DFIR-IRIS does not identify the affected handlers. Exploitation requires an authenticated account and a user to visit affected content, enabling script execution in that user's browser with limited data access or modification.
