Team administrator privilege escalation
Published Oct 1, 2024 · Updated Oct 1, 2024
Privilege escalation in Deltablot eLabFTW 4.6.0 through 5.0.4 allows remote attackers to gain administrator rights over an application team. The vendor ties exposure to local registration, SAML team creation, and administrator-led imports but does not disclose the faulty request or code path. A regular team member can exploit affected configurations; after 5.0.0, some configurations permit exploitation without prior authentication, but system-administrator status remains unaffected.
