Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped roleKey
Published Mar 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 23, 2024
SQL injection in PandaXGO PandaX through 20240310 allows remote authenticated users to modify database data via a crafted roleKey. The Insert function in apps/system/services/role_menu.go interpolates roleKey into a quoted VALUES tuple with fmt.Sprintf, then executes the assembled SQL string without parameterization. A valid X-TOKEN and access to the role-creation endpoint are required; successful injection can add attacker-chosen database tuples.
