Privileged command execution via authenticated CLI injection
Published Mar 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Command injection in ArubaOS and EdgeConnect SD-WAN CLIs allows remote authenticated users to execute privileged operating-system commands. HPE identifies the command-line interface as the affected locus but has not disclosed the particular command or input-handling operation that fails to neutralize special elements. Administrative CLI credentials and network reachability are required; successful exploitation grants command execution as a privileged underlying-system user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
