Unauthenticated PHP code execution via REST rendering
Published Jun 4, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Code injection in Bricks Builder 1.9.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code through a REST request. The render_element route accepts a publicly exposed frontend nonce and passes attacker-controlled php_query_raw data through prepare_query_vars_from_settings into PHP eval(). No account or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants control of the WordPress site and its server process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
