SMTP message splitting via malformed DATA terminator

SMTP smuggling in Open-Xchange OX Dovecot Pro core 2.3.21.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to split one relayed message into two. The SMTP/Submission parser treats LF-dot-LF as end-of-DATA although SMTP requires CRLF-dot-CRLF, so the remaining bytes begin a second message. An unauthenticated network sender can inject a second message when affected Dovecot relays crafted input to SMTP, altering message boundaries and mail integrity.
