Administrator command execution via crafted request
Published Feb 28, 2024 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
OS command injection in ELECOM wireless LAN routers allows remote authenticated users on an adjacent network to execute arbitrary commands. Public advisories identify a specially crafted request but do not disclose the affected handler, parameter, or shell-construction error. Administrator access to the management interface is required, after which commands execute with the router firmware's privileges.
