Type confusion in Foxit PDF Reader 2024.1.0.23997 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through JavaScript in a crafted PDF. The deletePages method frees or resets the Field referenced by a Lock object's fields property, after which a getter uses the replacement object without validating its type. Exploitation requires a user to open the PDF or visit a malicious site with the browser plugin enabled, resulting in memory corruption under the user's privileges.
