Stored script execution via unsanitized console input

Published Jun 15, 2025 · Updated Jun 16, 2025

Stored XSS in Ping Identity PingFederate allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a console user's browser. The Administrative Console persists user-supplied data without adequate sanitization and executes it as JavaScript during later processing; Ping Identity has not identified the affected fields. Exploitation requires high privileges, a prepared condition, and active interaction by a later console user; impact is limited to browser-context data access and modification.
