Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped admin_id query
Published Mar 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Employee Task Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries via admin_id. The update-admin.php handler places the GET admin_id value inside a quoted SELECT on tbl_admin without binding or escaping it. A valid session is required, and the published time-delay payload demonstrates control of the application's database query.
