Unauthenticated database read and modification via SQL injection
Published May 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in RuvarOA 6.01 and 12.01 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through the txt_keyword parameter. The get_company.aspx endpoint fails to neutralize SQL control characters in the attacker-controlled parameter before using it in a database command. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation compromises database confidentiality and integrity and can interrupt service.
