Database read and modification via crafted parameter
Published May 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in RuvarOA 6.01 and 12.01 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data via a crafted request. The /WorkFlow/wf_work_finish_file_down.aspx endpoint passes attacker-controlled sys_file_storage_id content into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. Low-privilege access and user interaction are required; successful exploitation affects database confidentiality and integrity without interrupting service.
