Unauthenticated SQL injection via template_id concatenation
Published May 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in RuvarOA 6.01 and 6.02 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through a crafted template_id query value. The wf_template_child_field_list handler copies Request.QueryString["template_id"] into a textbox and concatenates it directly into a SqlHelper query for office_missive_template_child_fields without parameterization. The endpoint is network-reachable without authentication, and successful injection exposes database confidentiality and integrity and can interrupt service.
