Database data compromise via file-download SQL injection
Published May 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in RuvarOA 6.01 and 12.01 allows remote attackers to execute database queries via a crafted file-storage identifier. The /WorkFlow/wf_file_download.aspx handler processes the sys_file_storage_id parameter without neutralizing SQL syntax before database use. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can read or alter database data and interrupt service.
