Database read and modification via attachment SQL injection
Published May 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in RuvarOA 6.01 and 12.01 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through a crafted attachment request. The Mobile/LHMail/AttachDown.aspx handler passes the email_attach_id query value to DownLoadEmailAttach, where it is concatenated into an SQL statement without neutralization. No authentication or user interaction is required; crafted values can control database queries and delay responses.
